International professional registration
Extend the recognition of your professional status.
The IET offers three categories of registration for professional engineers who wish to practice within Europe. This can be achieved through Fédération Européene d'Associations Nationales d'Ingénieurs (FEANI), or internationally through the International Register of Professional Engineers (IRPE) or the International Engineering Technologist (IntET) Register.
European registration - EUR ING
FEANI certifies the engineering competence of professional engineers for most countries within Europe. Engineers registered with FEANI are awarded the title EUR ING.
IntPE registration
This category of registration is available to IET registered Chartered Engineers (CEng). Registration on the International Register of Professional Engineers confers the title IntPE (UK) and is intended to enable easier admission for registrants to the national registers of other IntPE register members.
IntET registration
This category of registration is available to IET registered Incorporated Engineers (IEng). Registration on the International Register of Professional Engineers confers the title IntET (UK) and is intended to enable easier admission for registrants to the national registers of other IntET register members.
