IET training course
MSP Foundation
15-16 March 2010
Time
09:00-17:00
Location
London, UK
This two day course is the first step towards becoming Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) qualified. You will receive an introduction to MSP, its principles and processes to work effectively when managing any programme.
Most organisations are going through constant change, therefore the requirement for processes and procedures is stronger then ever. With every change there is risk, complexity and many different aspects to manage. MSP provides a structured framework that can help you and your organisation effectively work through the change and achieve the goals set. During the course you will take a series of mock examinations and gain feedback on your progress. The MSP foundation exam is sat on the afternoon of the second day, it comprises 50 questions and will last for 40 minutes.
To ensure you are prepared fully and get the most out of the course, you will receive a comprehensive pre-course pack. You should aim to do a minimum of eight to ten hours pre-course reading.
Objectives:
- understand the principles and processes of MSP;
- design and implement a strategy for managing risks and resolving issues that may arise whilst managing a programme;
- organise and close the programme.
Delegates will be provided with refreshments, lunch and appropriate course material.
