e-Navigation in the maritime domain
The movement of goods by sea has supported world commerce for centuries, these operations cross many geographic borders/political boundaries/legal jurisdictions, with the consequence that traditional traffic management instruments and measures are no longer sufficient to satisfy the needs/requirements of the maritime domain.
