Concurrent Engineering in the Space Industry

Lecture

Concurrent engineering is a step away from the traditional centralised method of system design towards a more integrated means. Applications in the space industry to support conceptual and preliminary design phases have shown it to be effective in eliciting higher system performance and robustness, with favourable impacts on schedule and cost.
