The Mersey and Western Cheshire Network is always looking for volunteers to help with running the network. Even if you just want to join us to organise a specific event in our programme we would like to hear from you. Contact Clive Maude, Network Hon Secretary if you wish to assist in anyway.

An opportunity to hear about and see some of the projects currently being undertaken at the Engineering Technology Centre at Daresbury.

The workings of the training centre will be explained in detail as a tour of the location is undertaken.

Telephone Hacking
Matt will be giving a talk about the recent phone hacking scandal. He will be exploring how the voicemail systems of the various communications providers have been compromised, what went wrong and who's to blame. He will discuss how the communications providers have responded to the scandal and what is being done to provide secure messagingto customers in the future.
