IET Bristol Network

Local events, news and information from the IET in Bristol.

Latest News

  • Slides from our April lecture, on OC Robotics' snake-arm robots, are now available on the Past Events page.
  • The IET is supporting a new workshop "Sustainability at all Scales" at Bristol's At-Bristol Centre. This will give KS4, BTEC and post-16 students a new opportunity to bring the STEM curriculum to life, using At-Bristol as a case study. See more.

Our next few events are shown below, but you can see the full programme on our events page, or download the programme booklet. We often organise extra events as the season goes on; updates will be given on this website and via Twitter ( @IETbristol ), and you can now also subscribe to our Google Calendar feed.

Please register online for our events  - there is a registration link on each event's web page.  This lets us know how many people to cater for for our evening lectures and is compulsory for our site visits, where numbers are limited.  Also, if you haven't already, you can use the MyIET section of the website to register your interest in the Bristol Local Network, which will allow you to receive our emails and printed newsletters.

If you would like to get more involved with the local network, contact one of the committee.
